CAMERON DISHES ON AVATAR AT E3 EXPO

Published June 4, 2009

At the E3 gamers expo hosted by G4, über-director James Cameron (Terminator 1 & 2, Aliens, Titanic) talked at length about his upcoming film Avatar (his first since that little boat movie in 1997). While much of his discourse covers the interrelation of the film to the simultaneously created video game, this is the most forthcoming Cameron has been regarding the plot and details of this 14-years-in-the-making film.

James Cameron has always been a visionary director whose BIG FILMS invariably contained up-to-the-minute, cutting-edge technology. Given what Cameron tells us here about the plot and making-of this long-awaited movie (filmed with a revolutionary, Cameron-invented 3-D process), it looks like the stage is set for him to WOW us again.

Avatar, starring Sam Worthington, Zoë Saldana, and Sigourney Weaver, opens on December 18th, 2009.

Here’s Jim.
